Ipsy Glambag August 2013 | Review Update | Shanda G.

HI everyone! I hope you are doing well. Here's my updated review on the products that came in my August Ipsy bag. I felt like it would be a lot better if I did my updates here on my blog than in a video. Because I can  elaborate more. So let me know  what you think in the comments below.

The first product is the Micheal Todd Pumpkin facial mask. I've seen this product line on Youtube frequently, so I was excited to try it out. Foremost, I love the fact that the mask is really made with pumpkin. It's the first ingredient in fact! It doesn't have any fragrance in it making it a plus for fragrance sensitive people. The only thing about is....... It has Glycolic Acid in it I had no idea and when I put it on my face I was surprised. After getting over my initial surprise I left it on for the recommended 10 minutes. It left my face feeling soft . But the next day
my face was broken out. Maybe my skin just doesn't like the acid. I feel that it should have been stated on the front that it has Glycolic Acid in it.  That's my only major peeve about it.  Other than that I think it a solid product. But not for me.

The next product that was in the bag is this cream blush. I have never tried a cream blush before so this was different. I have to admit I was not thinking this was going to work for me. It being orange and all. But it's actually one of my favorite blushes now. The texture is smooth and creamy and it blends effortlessly.  I have worn this a few times already with lots of compliments. I defiantly would recommend this to others.

I must confess I hadn't heard of Pixi before this. Making this another product I was excited to try. I love trying new things! This mascara is in the color black. It's a simple lash boosting mascara. That goes on with out clumping.  My lashes were full without being over the top. I think this would be a good mascara for an everyday look. I didn't experience any fall out from it so it's good for all day wear.

The next product I have to talk about is the Pacifica BB cream. I'm sorry I don't have a photo to share here. I did try the product but it was in no way useful for me. It was a very light color that even under my foundation showed through. So unfortunately I got rid of it. I believe it would be just great for  someone with fair skin.

The last product I want to mention is the Noya Organic vanilla lip balm. This was a great lip balm the flavor was natural and it was very moisturizing. The formula was  without color making it a unisex product. I ended up giving it to my eldest son. Which made him very happy.

Well that's all for this review I hope you found it to be informative. If you want to give Ipsy a try here's a link............ http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-hdz1qfa1sbsy63u
