Beautybox 5 December 2013 | Review Update | Shanda G.

HI everyone welcome back!  Thank you for stopping by! Hope you are doing well.   Today I want to talk to you about the Beautybox 5. I  found out about this  company through Graveyardgirl over on youtube. She had such interesting things in the boxes she shared I had to try it. I contacted the company about trying out a box. And lo and behold they said yes! So, here I am to tell you what I think about the products I received in the box.

The lipgloss above is from OFRA in the color sultry. Which is a beautiful color, that actually looks good on me. If you've read any of my other post you'll know that some others I've tried don't. When applied the gloss tingles because it's a plumper. Which is normal for a plumping gloss. It's not for me though it felt to strong. I didn't notice any difference in my lips either. Although naturally my lips are rather plump. :-)

On to the foot smoother. This product is made to smooth out rough feet elbows and knees. I was excited to try this because my feet need all the help they can get to stay smooth. But, alias this had no effect on my feet. I didn't try it on my elbows or knees although i think it would work better in those areas. With  a light hand though.

The next product shown is the Clean & Clear morning burst Hydrating gel moisturizer. I have been wanting to try a gel moisturizer for some time. So I was happy to try this out. I have oily acne prone skin that's also fragrance sensitive. :-(   This did have fragrance in it but i tried it any way. Guess what ? I didn't break out! My skin was actually happy with this product! YESsssss!  It is a clear formula, non sticky, light weight, and absorbs quickly into the skin. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try a gel moisturizer.

Here is the NYX eyeshadow trio called Love in Rio. I have tried a few Nyx products and they tend to be well made quality inexpensive products. The palette didn't disappoint. The colors in the trio are nicely pigmented. I will get the most use out of the pink and brown though.

The last product I received was by Body Drench which was a moisturizing lotion. The smell was nice. Although I did find it to be a tad watery. This would be more suited for the summer when you need a little moisture.
