Julep Maven April 2014 | The Vivid Collection Review Update | Shanda G.

Hello my fellow blog readers! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you are having a great day. Here are my final thought on my April Julep box.  I received three beauty products in my box this month plus one treat! As you can see below I got this Beautiful blush. I had no idea that Julep also did make-up til I received this.  I thought the lipgloss I received last month was a fluke.  Silly me! So I did some research to find out more. They have a whole line of face care products and makeup! You may want to go check it out if you're in the market for some new makeup.

First off I have to say

I love the packaging, it looks so slick and elegant. As you can see above this blush is in t a lovely peach color called peach bellini. It is supposed to be a pore minimizer. As far as the wearability for my skin tone. It was great the color shows up nicely with out being chalky or to pale. I have to say this was a great edition to my collection.

I also received two nail polishes in this box as I did in the first two boxes. These are from the new Vivid collection. Which is full of bright colors for the #Summer.  The first color you see below is called Caitlin, a beautiful pink color. This polish goes on just like the others opaque and effortlessly beautiful.

Above is the other polish I received called mariska an almost neon orange. Also a beautiful color for the summer. This is also a very opaque shade. As stated in my previous post all of the  Nail Polishs are“5-free” and does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, or camphor.

I have some sad news to report this will be my last julep maven Box. I'm not stopping the service because of any issue I have with the products. They are all very well made with a lot of thought and hard work put into them. I've only decided to stop it because while I love nail polish I don't want to acquire a lot. If I keep up the subscription I'll have a ton!  Although they do have an option in which you can recieve only make-up. I've decided to go with another beauty box which may fit my lifestyle better. Be sure to look for it on my Youtube channel in May!
