Birchbox January 2014 | Review Update | Shanda G.
HI there my fellow blog readers! Well this is my sixth birchbox. Can you believe it has been six months already?! Just like in my Ipsy post this will be it for a while or forever. The experience has been good overall. I'm just stopping for now because I want to try out some other subscription box services. If you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments below! Now on to the products in this post.
Above I have the Brilliant Glossing shampoo and conditioner with olive oil from Fekkai. This had a nice scent. I didn't notice much of a glossy shine on my hair difference. But my son's hair WOW it was a major difference. He has naturally light brown hair. It was so shiny it looked RED. So yes this worked for him . But on my naturally coarse dark hair no.
This sampler palette from Coastel scents has colors from their new reveal palette. The colors are in neutral shades. The color pay off is nice. It's not as vibrant as I would like though.
The last product I have is a perfume! YEA! This one is by Harvey Prince in the scent Journey. It has Indian tuberose and Japanese orange flower in it. The combination is earthy yet not over poweringly hippy.
I also received an extra product in my box this month. It's a day lotion by Burt's bees. It has clare sage in it. This is a creamy product. It is a bit heavy so, if you have oily or acne prone skin I don't recommend it. I love Burt's Bees but this particular product doesn't work for me.
