Bath and Body Works French Provence Candle Line | Spring 2014 | Review|Shanda G.

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. Thank you so much for taking time to check out my blog. Please take a moment to enter my giveaway here. All details can be found at the end of the post! Thank you and good luck to everyone who has already entered. With all that said let's get into the reason for this post! I'm sure most of you have heard of +Bath and Body Works candles. This past April they came out with this line based on scents found in France. I will be sharing three that I tried with you.

The first candle I want to talk about is the scent Spring Time in Provence.
The description reads: Experience the beauty of springtime in France's Provence region with a blend of fresh raspberries, juicy peaches and a hint of citrus.
What it smelled like to me:  Cold sniff......Berries with a floral smell. Very close to a fruity gelatto shower gel I love.
Scent Strength: This candle gave a medium throw. It filled up my room and it lingered for a day after burning it for three hours.
Burn Quality: This had a nice even
burn with no smoke or soot.
Final Thoughts: I love this candle I know I say that a lot. But I really do! It is so fruity and floral it defiantly lends itself to spring.

Lemon Verbena

The description reads: The Luscious lemon scent of the plant that grows on country side roads in Provence inspired a sunny blend of verbena blossoms and lily of the valley leaves.
What it smelled like to me: Cold sniff.... this smelled like lemons with a slight herbal scent. While burning it was very light.
Scent Strength: Light - while burning it was barely noticeable. I closed the door to my room and it still didn't fill it with it's fragrance.
Burn Quality: It had a very even burn with no soot or smoke.
Final Thoughts: I love the cold scent better than when it's burning. It think it gets lost somehow when it's heating up.

French Lavender

The description reads: Never-ending fields of lavender are the essence of Provence and are recreated in a transporting blend of wild lavender heightened by a hint of vanilla.
What it smelled like to me:  Cold sniff......lavender, lavender, and more lavender! If you stepped outside into a field of french lavender you couldn't  tell the difference.
Scent Strength: Strong- This filled up my room within thirty minutes of burning. It lingered for TWO days with out me lighting it again.
Burn Quality: This was a very even burn. Although near the end it did get a little smoky.
Final Thoughts: This candle is a great addition to anyone's candle stash. I think it's perfect for relaxing in your home after a long day. It would easily fill a large room with it's calming scent.

Other Scents available in this line:
Cirtron Cederwood
Sundrenched Vineyard
Wild Poppies
Provence Garden

Well that's it for this post! I hope you enjoyed it. If you have tried any of the candles mentioned please tell me your thoughts on them in the comments. Please follow this blog for more post on candles and such.
