Murad Product reviews | Mask, lotions...| Shanda G.
Hello to all my lovely blog readers out there! I hope you are doing well on this Tuesday. I am going to do a review for you all on a brand that you may have heard of. Murad I have seen this on the web a while now and I heard so many good things about it. So I decided to give it a go myself. You all may or may not know this, but I have acne prone skin. I used to have great skin til I reached my thirties then Wham! My face just went mad and I was having breakouts on top of breakouts. Then began my search for something to help my skin.
As far as I can tell Murad offers products in a three step system. The first is a cleanser , second the treatment, third the moisturizer. In the photo below I received this wipe and a dark spot treatment with the purchase of the face mask. Which was awesome! Who doesn't love samples?
I'm going to talk about the products in the order you would use them.
First is the **Clarifying wipes. They are premoistened wipes with salicylic acid. they are meant to reduce shine balance and tone the skin. I used this in the evening before the mask and found it very refreshing. I noticed a slight tingling sensation after use. Since I only had one wipe I can't tell you much else about it. I may purchase some in the future. They are $18.00 for a pack of 30. Which is a bit pricy but if they keep break outs at bay it would be worth it.
The second step in this line is the Clarifying Mask this is the one I heard +Zoella raving about over on her channel. This mask is made with Kaolin and Bentonite clay to purify and deep clean the pores. It also has Sulfur in it which is supposed to help encourage the skin to break out less. I tried this product off and on for about four months now. I did notice a difference immediately after using this. It make my prose seem smaller and my skin softer. Although I didn't notice much reduction in my acne flare ups. They seemed to keep coming as usual. But this did make the duration significantly less.
Next I have the **Black head remover that I received free to sample with a purchase. This is made with volcanic mineral clay and shikaki extract which is meant to detoxify and draw out impurities. I love the way this felt on my skin. I could feel it exfoliating. It had some little course bits in it shells? Maybe? What ever it was it worked great. My skin had noticeably less black and white heads after use. Especially my nose which is a problem area for me.
This last product is the icing on the cake. It is called **Pore refining sealer. After you use the blackhead remover you put a small amount onto your finger tips then apply to your face. This was like a one two pouch for my acne prone skin. You are instructed to put this on every twelve hours. By doing that I was white and black head free during my use of the product. I would recommend this combination to anyone struggling with Black heads. If you can try to get a sample before you buy to see what I mean.
