The Lunar Chronicles | Scarlet | A review | Shanda G.

Hello to all my book worms out there! I hope you all had a fun safe weekend! Yeaa!!! this is my fourth installment of Book Review monday. I am enjoying this so far!  What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below.  Ok let's get started on this book shall we?

 Today I have for you another book by Marissa Meyer. It's  the second book from her Lunar Chronicles Series. It is called Scarlet. I think this is my favorite so far in the series. ARghhhh! I can't wait to talk about it.  I didn't purchase this book yet though I borrowed it from my local library. Hence the picture. I'm going to warn you now if you keep reading there will be spoilers ahead!

Summary

In this book we begin by meeting Scarlet, the character the book is named for. She is a young produce delivery girl  somewhere in the country of France.  During her deliveries she some how ends up serving a customer in one of her customers diners. This is how she meets wolf. A beautiful man with strange eyes. I can't help it guys I was intrigued. I love this part . The lone man that looks as though he needs love in his life. Of course at first Scarlet is weary of him. But in time she trust him. Cinder is still highly present in this book. If you  have read the first book you'll know that she is in prison. She manages to escape and bring along a fellow prisoner.  But with her escape the Lunar queen launches an all out attack on all corners of the world. Which leads the prince to make the ultimate sacrifice.

 There is so much going on in this book that I had to keep turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. This book was fast paced and well written. I stayed up late each night even though I had to get up early the next day. But it was so worth it! I couldn't wait to get started on the next book in this series!
