Black Vanilla |Carol's Daughter Review| Shanda G.

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a great Tuesday evening. It has been a dreary week so far here in the south. The rain has really put me in a lazy mood. But I really wanted to get this out to you all. If you have read  some my other review post, you will know that I am a rather curly headed girl. I am on a constant look out for a product that will make my hair cloud soft and silky. So when I saw this I decided to give it a try and see what happens. As you can see this time I bought  the full size and everything from the line. I was only able to find this in Target after searching for it in a few different stores. It was actually on sale so that was awesome.

The shampoo and conditioner is made for dry brittle hair. The conditioner has Shea, biotin, and B5 and the shampoo has aloe, and clover. They both have a very pleasant smell to them. Although the vanilla wasn't that strong to me.
After trying: I didn't find the shampoo to be very moisturising. Nor did I find it made my hair shinier than normal. As I've mentioned before I have very kinky hair that tends to knot up on the ends. It is also very dry leading it to have split ends. I also let my son try it who has hair of a looser finer texture. The shampoo didn't make his hair any shiner or moisturized. But the conditioner did a great job. It did give his curls more definition.
The oil her is made of safflower oil and camomile. This is also made for dry dull brittle hair.
After trying: I love this hair oil. It was very light and quick absorbing for my hair. My hair drank this up quickly. I didn't have any trouble with my hair feeling greasy or leaving spots on the furniture. :-) For my sons hair it was a bit much. But if I just put 3 or 4 drops in my hand  before applying it was fine.

The hair smoothie is a type of conditioner itself. Which I didn't realize at first. I so thought this was a leave in conditioner. Ha Ha! I totally didn't read it through before I purchased it.
After trying: I also happened to love this product. it is thick and creamy. It's made from Shea and cocoa butter. Which  are both great moisturizers. My hair loved it. Although it didn't give my hair that pillow soft feeling I'm so looking for. It still was great as a deep moisturizer. For my son's hair it gave it wonderful definition. It also gave it gorgeous shine. I will definitely repurchase this for him.

Well everyone that's it for my review.
Now tell me. Have any of you tried this product? What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!
xoxo
