Premise Excert
Cassie has always trusted the society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching Ceremony, Cassie knows with absolute certainty he is her ideal mate........until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen goes black.
My Thoughts
This was a very absorbing book. I liked the character Cassie. She is type of person that knows her own mind. No sappy wish washy girl here. When she really falls for a guy she doesn't turn back. I really like the way Ms. Condie tells the story. She gives enough detail for you to imagine being there with the characters. This story did make me feel sad when Ky got sent away. When I feel anything from a story I know the writer did their job. I'm glad it's a series so that I can find out what happens next!
