Welcome February 2018 | Life
Today was the first day in February.
I'm going to choose to look at it with opportunity in mind.
I want to keep out of my mind all the things I didn't achieve in the month of January.
All of the opportunities that I let slip by. This month has so many wonderful things in store.
Each day will be a new adventure that I get to explore.
February will be the month that I gain strength from within to do what I love.
It will be the month that I send out love to all that need it.
It will be the month that I try something new and I won't talk my self out of it because I am afraid.
I won't let the voices in my head tell me that my voice is dead, dying, useless, your words are better left unsaid.
I won't take that road this month. because today is the first day of February and I will allow my words to be said.
HI everyone! Welcome to my little space on the internet. Today I am welcoming in February and I hope you will join me. This month my focus is on cleaning out the clutter and continuing my yoga practice. The struggle is real! Somedays I feel like I just can't move through the fog of all this crap that has some how appeared in my home. When that happens I don't want to do my yoga practice. Vicious cycle I know right. But this month I have decided to impliment a new practice. i will start each day with a positive afirmation. Todays was " Today will be a wonderful day". So, I said this aloud, then in my mind as I brushed my teeth, as I washed my face, got dressed, and so on. Believe me it didn't feel so wonderful at first. But then something awesome happened at work. Which put me in a good mood. Then I let it feeling transfer to someone else by giving encouragement or good advice. Which created a layering effect for me. Which made my day not so bad. So tonight i will end my day with another affirmation. Tonight I will have restful sleep and wake up refreshed.
